When the Saudi Open came to Dirab Golf & Country Club, IMG needed marshals, officials, security and hospitality teams to reach each other instantly — across an open championship course, from the first tee to the final green.
A golf course is one of the hardest places to keep a radio network clean: long distances, uneven terrain and many teams sharing the air. IMG asked for every radio to be ready before event week, full range on every hole, and channels that would never step on each other.
Our team surveyed the course ahead of the event to confirm coverage, installed a central base station and programmed six dedicated channels — one for each operational team. On 4 December we handed over 86 commercial-grade two-way radios with earpieces, set up and ready to use, and a Scope Systems technician stayed on-site from 7 to 13 December through build-up and every day of play.
Four tournament days of clear, conflict-free coverage across the whole venue — and an operations team that could focus on running a world-class event, not on their radios.
